Effective September 10, 2026. Mimo Cakes is a small home bakery in Austin, Texas.
What we collect
When you order, we collect your name, email address, phone number, order details, pickup date and any note you provide. Stripe handles card information; Mimo never receives or stores your full card number.
Why we use it
- To process and confirm your order.
- To send payment and pickup information.
- To contact you if something changes on pickup day.
- To plan the bake and meet record-keeping obligations.
Who processes it
We use Cloudflare to run the website and store orders, Stripe for card payments, Resend for transactional email, and Google Sheets as our internal order list. They process data only to provide those services. Venmo and Cash App process payments made in their apps under their own privacy policies.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not use your phone or email for marketing without asking. We do not create customer accounts or track you across other websites.
Retention and choices
We keep order records only as long as reasonably needed for customer support, bookkeeping and legal obligations. To ask what we hold, correct it or request deletion where applicable, email hello@mimocakes.com.
Cookies and local storage
The site saves your shopping box in your browser so it survives a refresh. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.
